This must-have kit does not only have hard-to-find metric sizing, but the o-rings are made out of nitrile which holds up better to heat and is more resistant to oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, silicone and even water.
New inner front wheel bearing seal. Fits right or left side. Should be replaced when repacking wheels bearings with new grease. NOTE: DOES NOT work on cars with ABS brakes.
Until now there has been no practical information for the DIYer to know how to test and replace their own vacuum 3/2 valve assemblies. There certainly been no inexpensive hose replacement kits. This new kit by Kent Bergsma solves both those problems.
If you own a 123 wagon or other Mercedes with self-leveling suspension, you will be faced someday with having to replace the main high-pressure hydraulic hose that goes from the engine-driven pump to a metal line fitting routed back to the rear suspension.
We receive a large number of emails from customers complaining about small fuel leaks at the fuel injector housing (coming out the threads between the two halves)and how best to seal them. To fix this high pressure leak requires taking the injector apart and "lapping" the mating surfaces.
We only have a few of these custom machined early 300SD steering locks left. LIMIT ONE per customer. We have been informed that there is no plan to manufacture new steering locks again for these classic old diesels

10 red plastic clips are included as shown. There are a number of reasons why you would want to remove the center side trim on your older Mercedes. You may just want to clean and detail behind them (it does get pretty dirty back there over the years).

Dont neglect this service as many do! I recommend the hydraulic fluid and filter be changed every 30,000 miles. You would not believe how many SLS vehicles I have seen with dirty hydraulic fluid - I mean nasty! Sometimes I have even found engine oil in the system!
I have never been impressed with the rubber vacuum hose found on older Mercedes diesels. I don't think the engineers ever anticipated how much abuse or how long these hoses would need to last!
Here are the correct size metric nuts with built in shoulder washer. If you drop these in behind the injection pump you may never find them. When doing glow plug service it is always a good idea to have some spare nuts on hand. New Bosch glow plugs do not come with new nuts.
Over the years I have used many different products to try to adhere chrome and trim pieces to body and interior panels. None has performed better for me than E6000. Silicone glue can't compete. When dry it holds like nothing else.

Some of the most common auto transmission leaks on the early automatics come from the banjo bolts that connect the filler tube to the bottom of the pan and the two transmission coolers lines to the lower front transmission housing.
This is a very common failure item on the older gas models. The braided outlet fuel hose will rot and and begin by weeping fuel through the hose. When it finally fails it can be dangerous and leave you stranded on the road. Large amounts of fuel will come pouring out of the tank.

This check valve is mounted on the end of the electric fuel pump and prevents pressure from bleeding off after the engine has shut down. If you engine is slow to start after it has sat overnight that could be a sign the check valve needs replacement.

These washers are installed right under the four nuts that hold the valve cover securely to the cylinder head. They help to prevent the over tightening of the valve cover as well as prevent the nut from loosening up. They also keep the nut from gouging the metal out of the valve cover.
Set of good used original pan bolts with washers. Will work on lower metal pan as well as vacuum pump housing. Common places for these bolts to round out.

Right rear pin and slide as shown. This is a common rust part and the threaded pin must be removed to remove the sunroof panel. This pin also rides up on a ramp to close the rear of the sunroof flush with the roof.

This is an original first aid kit. It came out of a 1981 300D. Contents look mostly complete and are original. I have 2 so it may or may not exactly have everythings inside as shown below. It probably should not be used as a first aid kit. This should be for original cosmetic purposes only.
If you have a leaking transmission seal it can be a real bear to get the old seals out without this puller tool. It works on both the front and rear transmission shaft seals. This tool also works great for removing the front crank seal on both gas and diesel engines.

When replacing front brake discs on above chassis it is highly recommend you replace the bolts that hold the rotor to the bearing hub. Not needed on 201 124 or 129 chassis. Sold individually. 5 required per wheel.

Brand new Auto transmission torque converter drain plug for All Mercedes, gasoline and diesel, from the late 60s up to the late 90s. If you are doing a complete transmission flush you will need to drain the torque converter. Good to have spare on hand!
Brand New short banjo bolt. Fits on top of injection pump on 617 Turbo Diesel ALDA and on 4 and 5 cylinder diesel water pump bypass pipes (often broken or rusty). This includes 220D 240D 300D 300TD 300CD and 300SD.
New aluminum washers (2) for long banjo bolt at rear of intake manifold and also for short banjo bolt at connection to ALDA on top of injection pump. These banjo bolts MUST not leak. These aluminum washers are often missing or damaged. Two washers required for each banjo bolt.
New rubber stop for rear exhaust bracket. It plugs into the body right above the back of the rear muffler. Helps prevent rattle. Fits almost all models from late 1960s to mid 1990s. When you hear something clunking in the back when you go over a bump, this part is probably missing.
