W123 Sedan and Coupe Vacuum Reservoir Tank - USED

Fits 123 1977 to 1985 240D 300D 300CD

Good used tested reservoir tank as shown. Sits on top of the gas tank in the trunk. If this is leaking your door locks will never work. Sometimes these crack or have very small leaks. Does not include the hard vacuum line or the rubber plug at the connection point to the tank.

Good used working actuator. Plastic connect clip still in tact and the threads on the adjuster are not broken as you see in most. You MUST have a good working cruise control amplifier for this unit to work properly.

Restoring 1980 and Older Rubber Vacuum Door Lock Actuators - On Demand Video

This only applies to those actuators that do NOT have cracks or tears in the rubber diaphragm

If your early door lock actuators do not have any cracks in the rubber diaphragms, but they just won't hold vacuum - it may be possible to fix them by taking them apart and cleaning and resealing the outer lip of each diaphragm.

Here is a great way to save some money repairing your old Mercedes vacuum door lock actuators. When they go bad it is almost always due to cracks in the rubber diaphragms. These can be easily replaced once you remove your door panels and remove the units.

ONLY ONE LEFT. Good used activation rod and plastic clip as shown. Controls travel of vacuum control valve on the top rear of the injection pump. A plastic clip can easily break. May be some slight wear on the end of the metal rod but still usable.
