When replacing the steering lock assembly in your Benz you will need to remove that little black plastic switch on the side of the lock from the old one and put it on the new part. You can not pry it off, squeeze it off or pull it off by hand.
For all 107 108 109 114 115 116 123 126 201 and 124 Chassis 1968 to 1995 including those models that have a special cable installed to keep the transmission locked until the key was turned.

NO WARRANTY IF YOU LOCK THIS UP. If you take it apart to install the transmission lock-up cam, do not "play" with it. Do not turn the key fully on until you have installed the lockout cam, rear electrical switch, and the cable for the transmission.

If your 1973 to 1980 450SL or SLC or 1977 to 1980 W116 280SE, 450SE, and 450SEL key is stuck or is sticking, this may be your only option for repair! New Genuine tumblers and key assemblies for these cars are no longer being made. New O.E.
This is not a complete instructional video on how to "overhaul" the M116 and M117 D-Jetronic fuel injected V8 distributor. There is lots of information out there on installing new points, setting the dwell and timing, replacing the cap and wires, etc.
These instructions pertain only to the multi pin plug switch on the back of the ignition lock and key assembly.

The driver's side W124 under dash panel can be a little tricky to remove due to all the hidden fasteners. Without knowing where these are and how to get to them, removal can be frustrating and it is easy to break the plastic covers.
Fits 1980 to 1985 240D 300D 300CD 300TD and 81 to 87 126 300SD 300SDLThe lock and release mechanisms inside wear out over time, and when that happens, a new tumbler assembly will NOT fix the problem. If the internal wear is severe, the lock may not be repairable.

Good used bright aluminum trim ring. Goes around ignition key tumbler assembly. Complete with three tabs intact. No rubber seal. This is not perfect as there may be some small scratches, but it yours is missing this is much better to look at than a hole through your dash.

We have been informed that there is no plan to manufacture new steering locks again for these classic cars. This will also fit the European R107 280SL . If your 380SL or 560SL key is stuck or is sticking, this may be your only option for repair!
For later 1973 to 1980, 4.5 V8 engines - 450SL, 450SLC, 450SE, and 450SEL. Very nice set of high-performance wires for your 450V8. But we ask you to check your distributor cap before ordering as there was a change in 1973 and even some 1974 models may have the older orange/ brown color cap.
Exceptionally nice set of high-performance spark wires as shown. These should be replaced approximately every 80,000 miles for peak performance.
Fits 124 201 126 Chassis with M103 engine only, including 190E 260E 300E 300TE 300CE 300SE and 300SEL . These are the current plugs Kent recommends for this 6 cylinder gas engine.
