Rubber engine motor mounts are a very high failure rate part on these cars due to both age and mileage. Have you noticed your Mercedes 240D sedan is recently shaking more at idle. Maybe you just thought it was because it was a four cylinder.
These instructions pertain only to the multi pin plug switch on the back of the ignition lock and key assembly.
Have you noticed your Mercedes diesel sedan is recently shaking more at idle. Maybe you are noticing new vibrations that were not there before. You may have also noticed the engine makes some clunking noise when you shut it off. When was the last time your rubber motor mounts were changed.
This is a "must-have" kit when adjusting release "pop" pressures on older diesel mechanical fuel injectors. It is the internal spring "shim" thickness that determines the exact pressure required for the release of fuel at the tip of the injector.

Are you tired of windshield washers sprayers that done spray straight or don't spray at all. If you can hear the pump running but no fluid is coming out the nozzles it could be the nozzle holes are plugged with dirt.
An annoying problem on many older Mercedes up to 1980 that have an aluminum housing surrounding the turn signal arm latching assembly. When these wear out the lever will not hold position when you push it up or down.

It seems like you never needed a 16mm or 18mm wrench or socket until 1996. After the intro of the W210 things changed. This set of 3 quality U.S. made tools consists of an 18mm stubby combo, an 18mm deep 3/8 drive socket, and a 16mm short 3/8 drive socket.
They started using 18 mm hardware after 1996. Most wrench kits use to not even have an 18mm combination wrench - let alone a long one ( measures 11 inches long).
You will not believe the difference a new cap can make in terms of ease of removal. It wont last forever due to age and heat. So when it starts getting hard to remove you can just replace the seal and put a little oil on it! What a great kit!!!
Kent finally got so frustrated trying to get these oil caps off that he came up with this new tool he chose to call the wrist saver. Watch the video to see this unique tool in action.
In this 14 minute instructional video, Kent will show you how to safely remove the side window lower trim without damaging the car's paint or the soft aluminum trim. He will do this using his special tool to do this job. He will also show you how to install the trim back on without bending it.
After years of wearing out his shoulder and elbow joints trying to hand polish convertible top windows, Kent finally decided he had to use some fast-action power tool. The idea for this kit and the included tool came from developing and using his aluminum trim polish kit.
Many uses for this quality hard steel tool including removing W123 and early W126 motor mount bolts.

On older Mercedes spot rust can be a hidden problem under side moulding trim, under fenders and rocker panels and inside the bottom edges of doors.
This is a handy compact winch pulling tool. Not designed for lifting. It is a must have if you plan to replace the guide rods or guide rod mounts (brake control rod bushing) on any 126 chassis from 1981 to 1991 300SD 380SEL 500SEL 380SEC 300SDL 350SDL 300SE 300SEL 420SEL 560SEL 560SEC.
Valve adjustment is often neglected on many of the mid 1950's to early 1970's 6 cylinder single overhead camshaft gas engines. If it has been years since any adjustment was made, there will be problems - Kent can guarantee it!!!
Leaking fuel injector pumps have become a very common problem in the 60x. engines produced from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. The early 60x.
It is hard to find the right motor mount bolts for the 116 diesels. They have to be good hard steel and just the right length. We have provided locking washers to install with the bolts so they will not loosen up.
Fits 115 and 123 Chassis 220D 240D from 1968 to 1983. If your 4 cylinder diesel has more than 200,000 miles on it without any major work, it most likely needs new valve stem seals.
When working on automotive engines a long heavy machinist straight edge is a must. This is the best way to tell if the mating surfaces are flat and true. That includes cylinder heads, engine blocks, intake and exhaust manifolds as well as critical sealing metal to metal covers and housings.
For all 3.5, 3.8, and 4.2 liter V8 engines from 1969 to 1991 280SE 3.5, 300SEL 3.5, 380SE, 380SEC, 380SEL, 380SL and 420SEL. These THREE are the upper (and easily accessible) plastic guide rails that most often break due to age and heat.

This kit will include the parts and detailed PDF instructions you will need to repair a front transmission case leak in your 1968 to 1983 NON TURBO diesel automatic.
These transmissions are now 40+ years old, and with age comes hardened o-rings and seals, leading to what I call "pesky" leaks. They are not bad enough to flow on the ground, but they do leave wetness around the transmission and drips on the garage floor.
Valve clearance adjustment should be done every 10,000 to 12,000 miles. Recently emails started coming in - "we can not find any valve adjustment tools for our earlyV8 - help!" Most companies are currently noting the old factory-style tools are no longer being manufactured, so we went to work to
