This is another small "frustration" for W123 diesel owners. The fuse box cover is mounted flat to the firewall behind and to the left of the brake booster. You can not just pull it straight out nor can you just push it straight back on.

Kent's Custom Diesel Front Crank Seal Race Removal Tool

For OM615 OM616 and OM617 Diesel engines from 1968 to 1985. Made to remove the race on the end of the crankshaft when replacing the front crank seal.

Kent modified this puller and developed a procedure to remove the front crank seal race so the job could be affordable from the DIY mechanic. This costs less than half the cost of the factory tool.

This came off a turbo engine but many don't know it makes your non-turn engine really spin! Excellent used working starter motor. This starter motor can also be fitted to the W123 240D and 300D non-turbo engines to make the engine turn faster for quicker starts in cold weather.
