One of the handiest wrenches you can own! This double reversing ratcheting S wrench can save the day! Works great for 17 mm nuts like on bumpers and alternator brackets and the 15 mm can work on some hard to get to flex disk bolts.

Door hinge lubrication has to be one of the most neglected maintenance items on the older models. I think part of the problem stems from the fact owners don't know how to do it or don't know how to acquire the proper grease gun to lubricate those special fittings on the door hinges.
If you own and maintain an older car (especially 15 years and older) you must be willing to take care of its lubrication needs or you may spend big money later in repairs.
Ever wish you could find a good way to lube the door hinges on your old Benz? Maybe you have seen that little fitting wondering what it is, or maybe you have heard there is a special grease gun that can inject grease into that fitting?
Are you tired of windshield washers sprayers that done spray straight or don't spray at all. If you can hear the pump running but no fluid is coming out the nozzles it could be the nozzle holes are plugged with dirt.
"I have heard some owners complain about the unreliability of those older Hirschmann power antennas. I would say that in at least 80 percent of the few hundred antennas I have taken apart that went bad - the reason was lack of lubrication!

Ever wish you could get rid of the annoying wiper scratches on your front windshield (or rear hatch glass if you have a rear wiper)? How about those fine scratches in your side windows caused by dirt in the scrapers with rolling the windows up and down.

In this short video Kent will show you how he first tests the sunroof drains for blockage and then how he goes about cleaning out any blockage.
On older Mercedes spot rust can be a hidden problem under side moulding trim, under fenders and rocker panels and inside the bottom edges of doors.
Excellent used and tested complete sunroof cable drive assembly as shown with rubber drive coupling. Mounting plate not included. For into a later 114 or 115 sedan.
Mercedes 108, 109, 114, 115, 116, 107, 123, 126, 124 and 201 chassis window trim has a super strong anodized coating that is imperious to hand polishing but still can oxidize when exposed to harsh environmental elements.
The side trim strips beginning with the W108 Chassis in 1965 and ending with the 123 chassis in 1985 were all held to the body with the same method.
Is your driver side or right side manual adjusting mirror getting difficult to adjust? Is the mechanism broken or will not hold adjustment? Does the mirror glass need replacing? Repairing these types of problems is definitely something you can do yourself!

For all 111, 112, 108, 109, 114, 115, 107, 116, 123, 126 and 201 chassis (Non tilting roofs up through 1986). Do you have a power sunroof that is working poorly or maybe not at all?
Manual sunroofs can have problems too. Just like their electrically operated counterparts, most often they will fail due to lack of lubrication. The number one failure point is a broken T handle. Number two is failure of the roof to close properly due to damaged felt feet and plastic slides.
Groaning, snaping and jammed door check straps are a common problem on the older models (up through 1995). This is primarily due to age and lack of lubrication. Newer models will soon start having similar problems. Rain water getting inside the doors is the big killer.
In this 10 minute video class Kent shows you what you should initially look for when checking out an older Mercedes for sale. He routinely does a quick 3 to 5 minute walk around to determine if the car passes his priority three part test.
Those three areas on inspection are:
Mercedes 114, 115, 107, 116, 123, 126, 124 and 201 chassis window trim has a super strong anodized coating that is impervious to hand polishing but still can oxidize when exposed to harsh environmental elements. When this happens the trim becomes spotted and milky in color and it is NOT pretty!

Can be successfully applied to all Mercedes Alloy (non chrome) Silver Wheels from 1970 to 1995. 108, 109, 107, 114, 115, 116, 123, 201, 126 and 124 chassis. Most of us have to admit that stained and peeling paint on Mercedes alloy wheels is ugly on any model.
These are getting harder to find. Very good mechanism and cosmetic condition. No chrome cover plate and adjustment handle included.
This video will show Kent's technique on how to prime and paint alloy wheels using our wheel paint kit and masking dam that we sell separately. See below. The techniques will also apply to any spray can paint you should choose to use.
Maybe you have even tried this only to have to patch fall on the floor when you walk away... ( it has happened to Kent... :-) ).
This can happen when you least expect it! It happened to me right when I purchased a W109 300SEL and it can be really frustrating.
This super fine cloth along with Miracle Paint can really do some fine rust repair detailing. You can use it on a rough pitted area that you want to smooth out. Put on a couple layers of cloth and coat with Miracle Paint. Let dry and block sand.
This on-demand training video will walk you through the steps you need to follow in order to get your headliner panel off so you can work on the sunroof. If your sunroof won't open, you are stuck - right? Not SO according to Kent.
Have you ever been embarrassed by opening and closing one of your car's doors? What is that annoying noise bystanders may ask?
This kit includes everything you will need to successfully install a new foam hood pad in your older Mercedes. By successful, we mean getting in on straight and having it stay in place for the life of the pad! If you think it is a no-brainer, think again.
I have always dredded replacing a hood release cable. Finally on the last one I did, I decided to do something about those feelings.
Removing the tilting sunroof panel is a little bit of a mystery to many owners. Since there are no exposed fasteners, at first glance it can appear to be very difficult to remove.
Indications that your seal needs replacing are tears in the lip and no resistance when you close your trunk. If you trunk snaps shut too easily it means the seal has collapsed and is no longer sealing properly.

In this video Kent will show you how to rid your car of those less than attractive rock chips and other paint flaws from door dings and general scratches. He will walk you through the paint and supplies you will need and then demonstrate step-by-step using a 2000 S500 and a 2000 E320 wagon.
When Kent set out to find a good fender cover for his own use he and Kaia decided to make it available to our customers. Who doesn't like a good soft fender cover that stays in place? We know red shows the grease more than black but you have to admit these are a knockout!
Do you have a manual or power sunroof that is working poorly or maybe not at all? Does it move slowly in the morning, but when it heats up during the day it works just fine? Do you have to assist it by hand to get it fully opened or closed?
We have tried countless different chrome polishes over the years and this is by far the best. Be sure to check out Kent's video showing the results as he polishes the chrome on his 1959 220SE. Polishes with a chemical action so does not wear you out... :-). Made in Germany.
This instruction booklet is meant to be an introduction to simple rust repairs. I have also written a manual that goes into more advanced repairs using Miracle Paint to replace larger rotted sections of sheet metal.
Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir Plug
This kit includes 4 metal quality dome caps with rubber seals inside. EXTRA BONUS - one slotted cap included to allow you to tighten or remove the valves inside the stems. Add some class to your wheels and get rid of those old ugly valve stem caps.
I like the convenience of using the factory jack points (holes) but I absolutely DO NOT like using the factory jack - except in cases of emergency road side repair. You all know it can be a little unstable... I solved this problem by using a large heavy duty bolt.
Use on 110, 111, 112, 113, 108, 109, 107, 114, 115, 116, 123, 126, 124, and 201 Chassis. I am sure we have all tried to hold a wheel onto the hub while trying to start a lug bolt at the same time!
If you have ever thought about replacing the seals in your sunroof here is a chance to read the manual so you can gauge the difficultly of the job. Seals and other repair parts can be purchased separately at a later date.
10 red plastic clips are included as shown. There are a number of reasons why you would want to remove the center side trim on your older Mercedes. You may just want to clean and detail behind them (it does get pretty dirty back there over the years).
