This kit will give you everything you need to fix the leaking or aged Tee hose between the fuel damper and the fuel accumulator on most 1977 to 1980 fuel delivery systems. Watch the video below to learn why this is needed.
Fits all 380SL and 380SLC from 1981 to 1985. This flexible fuel hose connects the outlet of the fuel filter to the metal hard fuel line going from the rear of the 380SL to the engine compartment. This hose is hard to install and hard to inspect.

I have used a lot of different clamping tools over the years to prevent fluids from leaking out when removing coolant, fuel, or brake fluid hoses. Most work ok. Some are hard to use in tight places. Many do not stop every last drip from coming out of the hose.
Any time you are removing and replacing your fuel injectors you will need to change the return hose and the heat shield crush washers. If you don’t, you will have leaking hoses and possible compression leaks at the injector nozzles.
Those old hardened and discolored plastic fuel hoses in your diesel engine compartment probably need to be replaced. When they crack and break you can dump a ton of fuel out on the road before your engine quits and leaves you stranded.
Fits all 123 and 126 chassis and later R107 as noted above - both gasoline and diesel models. It may fit a few other models as well but you MUST measure your old hose before ordering. We also carry the 15mm hose for most of the older models. See related products below:

Most 1988 to 1993 6 cylinder CIS fuel injection delivery (FID) systems are old and tired and have not been properly maintained. These include the W201 190E 2.6, the W124 260E 300E, 300CE, 300TE, the W126 300SE, and 300SEL, and the R129 300SL.
These are high quality German brand filters. Since mose of these cars are not driven regularly Kent recommends an oil change every 5000 miles or 2 years whichever comes first ( using quality oil) and a fuel fitler change every 10,000 miles or 2 years whichever comes
If you own, plan to own, and want to enjoy driving your old CIS fuel-injected Mercedes, Kent highly recommends you learn to do a full fuel system flow and pressure test.
In this 9 minute instructional video, Kent will explain how to test your fuel accumulator to determine whether or not it has failed internally. A failed accumulator will make your engine hard to start when hot.
These early “short style” electric fuel pumps are very prone to leaking fuel because the rubber case o-ring seals harden with age. New pumps are no longer available and rebuilt are VERY expensive! If you risk buying a used one it will probably end up leaking or seeping fuel too.
Fits 201, 126 (after 1986) and 124 four, five and six cylinder diesel to 1993. This kit should give you at least a year supply of fuel filters for your diesel. You will receive 2 main fuel filters, 3 clear plastic inline high quality pre-filters, and two main fuel filter o-ring set.
Do not let anyone convince you to install some super platinum, iridium or kryptonite spark plug in your SL V8. They are just not capable of handling the richer fuel mixtures associated with these older engines.

Kent's procedure uses the factory recommended "drip tube method" but with a "twist." He has devised a way to get accurate and consistant IP timing results while trying to get the drip tube to drip at one drip per second exactly when it should!

If you are going to buy or have just purchased an older 4 cylinder Mercedes Diesel the first thing you need to do is a good physical exam of the engine. It is even better to do this BEFORE you purchase the car to prevent surprises and pain in your wallet.
The FLOW or low pressure method of checking and adjusting injection pump timing does not require a separate pressure tank. With this method you use the hand primer pump to pump up pressure in the injection pump to get fuel to flow out of the half round drip tube included in this kit.

Leaking fuel injector pumps have become a very common problem in the 60x. engines produced from the mid 1980s to the mid 1990s. The early 60x.
This magnetic inline filter can give additional life to the power steering fluid on the M112 and M113 engines ( V6 and V8 from 1998 to 2006). The filter has 3/8 inch nipples and can accept a 3/8 inch hose ( size normally found in the return hoses on M112 and M113 engines.
Fits the following, 201, 124, and 126 chassis with 6 cylinder single cam gas engine. In my opinion, the 103 6 cylinder gas engine (built from 1986 to 1993) is one of the best engines Mercedes has ever built.
