This kit contains the following matched fittings. Two brass connector fittings and two hose clamps are included to help you fix old leaking air hoses. One is for 5/16 inch hose and the other brass fitting is for 3/8 inch air hose.

When cleaning and cosmetically restoring your cars engine and engine compartment, you will need containers for the various cleaners, acids, paints and sealants you might use as well as brushes to apply them.
Any time you are removing and replacing your fuel injectors you will need to change the return hose and the heat shield crush washers. If you don’t, you will have leaking hoses and possible compression leaks at the injector nozzles.

Worried about the internal condition of the fuel tank on your old 1959 to 1972 mechanical fuel injected Mercedes? Not sure if it has rust or other contaminants inside it.
These early “short style” electric fuel pumps are very prone to leaking fuel because the rubber lower case seals harden with age. New pumps are $650 to $750 and if you risk buying a used one it will probably ending up leaking or seeping fuel too.
Kent has never seen fresh fuel hoses on all the old MFI Mercedes he has worked on over the years. They only seem to get changed when they start leaking. Leaking fuel hoses at the electric fuel pump is a fire hazard!

A broken radiator neck can be safely repaired if it breaks off cleanly in the center or aft of the center of the neck. If it breaks off too close to the tank or breaks off in multiple small pieces then we advise that you replace the radiator.
This is the easiest and most affordable solution for replacing a deteriorated hood pad on the 190E and 190D. The pad will fit all models but will not look the same as the original on the later models like the 2.6. The OE pad for the later models costs between $200 and $250.

Kent recently replaced all the engine compartment rubber vacuum hoses and connectors in his own 300SDL and was amazed at the difference. Engine shut off quicker, transmission shifted better, and engine ran smoother.

This is just what the doctor ordered when installing a new seal. This can prevent the lip sealing spring from popping off during seal replacement. When this happens you will never know it because you can not see the sealing spring once the seal is installed!!!
This kit will allow you to replace the critcal worn parts inside the early 603 U.S. made Garrett T3 turbochargers. This kit will not work if your engine has a KKK turbo made in Germany. The only way to tell which turbo you have is by visual inspection.
