Groaning, snaping and jammed door check straps are a common problem on the older models (up through 1995). This is primarily due to age and lack of lubrication. Newer models will soon start having similar problems.
There are other brands of brake pad anti-squeal paste on the market, but for me the factory Mercedes paste has proven to be the most effective. It simply stays in place and holds up better over the long haul.
Electric power seats are great if they are working ok. When they do not work - especially in the fore and aft or tilt movement it can be very frustrating to even drive the car.
